Connecting people. Strengthening communities.

Home Help Community Foundation is the nonprofit behind a growing network of technology, partnerships, and programs that help Oklahomans find the right help — and help the organizations serving them do it better, together.

The Service Gap

People facing housing instability, food insecurity, healthcare access barriers, or other urgent needs run into a fragmented system — nonprofits, government programs, healthcare systems, and faith-based services that don't communicate with one another. Case managers, social workers, first responders, and front-line staff are left relying on outdated directories, word of mouth, and manual phone calls just to find out who can help right now, whether they have room, and whether the referral even worked.

The cost is real: people fall through the cracks, organizations duplicate effort, and communities lack the data to see where needs are concentrated and growing.

The Technology

Home Help's technology gives people and organizations a shared, real-time picture of what help is available. Anyone can search the app anonymously to find food, shelter, or other support nearby, with no sign-up required.

Behind the scenes, partner organizations use the Provider Portal to keep their own availability up to date, so what people find is accurate. As the platform grows, an Administrative Portal and community analytics dashboards will give the Foundation and its partners a clearer view of where needs are concentrated.

The Foundation is what makes bridging the gap possible for the communities that need it most. It lives to connect and build relationships with other local nonprofit organizations, healthcare systems, and agencies. Connecting organizations that are already active in our community means those in need are relayed the most accurate information about the resources available to them.

Home Help Community Foundation also aims to invest in research and education to understand what communities actually need and close the technology gap for individuals and organizations aiming to connect and grow.
